Oliva Serie V Melanio Toro is one of the most highly regarded cigars in the immensely popular Oliva brand portfolio. The follow-up to Oliva's 94-rated Serie 'V', these stunning premium cigars showcase a beautiful Ecuadorian-seed Sumatra wrapper that's dark, beefy , seamless, and boasts a nice oily sheen. Beneath this leaf, is a hearty mix of Nicaraguan binder and long fillers all grown in the fertile volcanic soils of the Jalapa Valley region of the country. The cigar is full bodied, yet smooth on the palate, while offering rich, complex flavors of dark roast coffee, leather, wood, and black pepper. The standout taste, along with top notch construction and a great burn, had Serie 'V' Melanio being honored as the #1 Cigar of 2014 with an almost unheard of 96-point rating.
